The Pearls of Wisdom area displays messages that may require your attention while using SmoothPay.
Messages can include:
notifications
warnings
status updates
user-generated reminders
Selecting a message opens it in a window so the full contents can be reviewed.
Message status
Messages use background colours to indicate their current status:
White — Unread
Grey — Read
Red — Marked for deletion
Opening an unread message and closing it using OK marks the message as read.
A message marked for deletion is removed when you log out of SmoothPay.
Selecting a message that is already marked as Read or Marked for deletion returns it to the Unread state.
Managing messages
Individual messages can be marked for deletion using the button displayed in the upper-right of the message while it is shown in the message list.
The Pearls of Wisdom area also provides controls to manage all currently displayed messages:
Mark all as read
Marks all current messages as Read.
Delete all
Removes all current messages immediately.
Employee reminders
Reminders created against employee records can appear in Pearls of Wisdom alongside other Dashboard messages.
