The Days between option is a standalone reference tool used to calculate:
the number of days between two dates
a proportional accrual based on an annual accrual value
The calculation is for reference only and does not affect employee records, leave balances, pays, or any other payroll information.
It can be helpful to use this tool to calculate proportionate adjustments to leave balances.

Opening Days between
Click Tools on the navigation bar.
Select Days between.
The Date calculation window opens.
Calculating days and accrual
Enter the required From date.
Enter the required To date.
Enter the Annual accrual value you want to use.
SmoothPay displays:
Days — the number of days between the selected dates.
Accrual — the proportional accrual for that period based on the annual accrual value entered.
