Payrun screen layout

The Payrun screen is divided into several main areas:

  • the Payrun control bar

  • the staff column

  • the transaction tabs

  • the transaction column

  • the transaction detail panel

Payrun control bar

The Payrun control bar appears across the top of the Payrun screen.

It contains the Payrun-specific controls and functions available while working with the current payroll.

Employee column

The staff column appears on the left side of the screen.

It displays the employees currently loaded into the Payrun.

Selecting an employee displays that employee's transactions in the transaction column.

A search box appears above the employee column and can be used to locate an employee within the current Payrun.

An interaction bar appears below the employee column and provides controls for working with the employees included in the Payrun.

Transaction tabs

The transaction tabs appear above the transaction column and transaction detail panel.

The available tabs are:

  • Work

  • Leave taken

  • Allowances

  • Recurring deduct

  • Sundry deduct

  • Overheads

Selecting a tab changes the type of transactions displayed for the selected employee.

Transaction column

The transaction column appears to the right of the staff column.

It displays the transactions belonging to the selected employee for the currently selected transaction tab.

Selecting a transaction displays its information in the transaction detail panel.

An interaction bar appears below the transaction column and provides controls for adding, removing and editing transactions.

Transaction detail panel

The transaction detail panel appears to the right of the transaction column.

The fields available in this area change according to the selected transaction tab and transaction type.

When adding or editing a transaction, the applicable fields in the detail panel become available for entry or modification.

Payrun period information

The pay dates used for the current pay period are displayed at the bottom of the screen, as well as on the navigation bar, positioned top centre.

It identifies the period end date and the payment date currently being used by the Payrun.
