Payrun control bar

The Payrun control bar appears across the top of the Payrun screen and provides access to functions used while working with the current payroll.

The controls are separated into groups according to their purpose.

Payrun controls

Import

Used to import pay-related information into the current Payrun and access other available import functions.

Who to pay

Used to control which employees are loaded into the current Payrun.

Employees can also be loaded through an applicable import or by using the + button below the employee column, which opens the same Who to pay function.

Pay reports

Used to produce audit and reporting outputs for reviewing the current Payrun before it is finalised.

Process pays

Used to finalise the current Payrun and transfer the completed payroll into Pay History.

Pay process tools

Template

Used to work with Template pay entries for the selected employee.

Template pays can contain standard Work, Allowance and Overhead transactions.

Timesheet

Used to enter and review time-based information for the selected employee using the Timesheet function.

Payslip

Used to preview the selected employee's payslip for the current Payrun.

Summary

Displays an overall earnings and deductions summary for the selected employee.

The Summary also provides access to additional Payrun information and override fields where applicable.

Employee settings quick access

These controls provide access to employee information without leaving the Payrun screen.

Employee

Opens employee settings for the employee currently selected in the Payrun.

Super

Opens the selected employee's Super settings.

Tax

Opens the selected employee's Tax settings.

Employee termination

Terminate

Used when processing a final pay and terminating the selected employee.

Miscellaneous controls

Public holidays

Opens the Public holidays function used to review the public holiday dates applicable to your payroll jurisdiction.

Leave balances

Displays leave balance information for employees while working with the current Payrun.

Instant pay

Used to finalise a Payrun immediately using a reduced processing path compared with the standard Process pays function.

Unlike the standard process, Instant pay does not perform the normal automatic backup or produce the standard processing outputs.
