The internal PDF viewer displays reports, payslips and other outputs that SmoothPay produces as PDF documents.
Generally, when you generate an output that uses the internal PDF viewer, it opens automatically and displays the document on screen. You can then review the document and use the available controls above it.
Using the PDF viewer
The controls above the displayed document allow you to:
search for text within the document
move between pages
view the current page number and total number of pages
adjust the zoom level
download the document as a PDF
export the report as a spreadsheet
Searching within a document
To search within the document, click into the Search field and start typing.
The viewer will then display which page number the results relate to.
Moving between pages
Use the page navigation buttons to move through the document.
You can move to:
the first page
the previous page
the next page
the last page
The page indicator shows the page currently being displayed and the total number of pages in the document.
Adjusting the zoom
Use the zoom dropdown to change the size of the document within the viewer.
Increasing the zoom makes the document easier to read, while decreasing it allows more of the page to fit on screen.
Print PDF
Select Print PDF to download a copy of the displayed document as a PDF through your web browser.
Export
Select Export to produce a spreadsheet version of the report.
The spreadsheet may include additional detail that is not displayed in the PDF version, as it is not restricted by page size.
