A fundamental overview of the Settings screen

The Settings screen is used to manage company-wide payroll settings and defaults.

It is the main area of SmoothPay where settings relating to the company, banking, payslips, accounting, superannuation, timesheets and other payroll options are maintained.

Typically, you use this area to:

  • Maintain company details

  • Configure company banking settings

  • Adjust payslip settings

  • Manage accounting and ledger defaults

  • Set company-wide superannuation defaults

  • Configure timesheet-related settings

  • Apply other payroll-wide options and defaults

The fields and options available may vary depending on the jurisdiction the payroll is configured for.
