The User & Company management guides cover the controls used to maintain your own SmoothPay user account, work with companies available to you, and manage other users and their access where permitted.
Most of these functions are accessed from the profile menu in the upper-right corner of SmoothPay.
To open the profile menu, click your user name.
The options displayed can vary depending on your user access and company setup.
Understanding the profile menu
The profile menu brings together several user and company management functions.
Edit your user settings
Used to maintain the details associated with your own SmoothPay user account, including:
your name, email address, and SMS number
two-factor authentication
username
password

Set [company name] as default
Sets the company you are currently working in as the company that opens by default when you log in to SmoothPay.

Add new company
Used to add another company to your company group.

Manage users and Add user
These options are used to create and maintain other SmoothPay users.
Depending on the function, they can be used to:
add new users
manage existing users
control which companies users can access
assign broad user access levels
reset user credentials
remove users

User access control (UAC)
User access control (UAC) provides more detailed control over which areas and functions of SmoothPay Read-only, User, or Individual users can access.
